Thermal curtain Neoclima (air) is a special equipment that is designed to separate different climatic zones, with warm and cold air. They also serve to prevent drafts, maintain heat / cold in the room, depending on the needs. In other words, an air curtain creates an air barrier that protects the room from the effects of the external environment (draft, insects, hot / cold air, etc.) and serve as an auxiliary device for heating or cooling the room.

• with air heating;
• without air heating .

And if everything is clear with air curtains (air curtains) without heating, then the type of curtains with heating can be divided into two more types:

1. electric heating - when the air in the air curtain is heated with the help of STICH or heating element , under the influence of electricity;

The principle of operation of air curtains - design

The air curtain consists of a powerful fan, a heating element (electric, water) and a nozzle. The fan sucks in air from the room through the perforated housing cover, passes it through the air heater and, after the air is heated, in the form of a directed jet, it releases it through the nozzle down to the outside. What creates the effect of an air wall.

How to choose the right air curtain

The efficiency and quality of the air curtain directly depends on the correct selection of such equipment. Simply installing and turning on a thermal curtain is not enough.

First of all, when selecting this equipment, it is necessary to know the height where it is possible to install the air curtain, whether it will be immediately above the opening, or under the ceiling. Then you need to know the width of the opening, from which you should start when choosing the width of the nozzle.

It is important that the width of the nozzle is not less than the width of the opening. And one more, important indicator - speed, air consumption. This is proportional to the installation height. Power should be such that it would be enough to block the external and internal environment.

Air curtain maintenance

In order to maintain the maximum performance of the equipment, it is important to regularly clean the inside of the intake and exhaust grilles, fan impellers, housing and motor.

During operation, the Neoclima thermal curtain passes a large volume of air through itself, respectively, all dirt, dust, etc. remain on the device parts. Over time, this can negatively affect both the work of the veil and the well-being of a person.

Cleaning is recommended to be carried out once every 4 months, but the frequency depends on the degree of air pollution, it is possible and more often, but not less often.
