NS/NU-24EHRIw2
Description NS/NU-24EHRIw2
New in 2022, the Neoclima Alaska 4.0 household air-to-air heat pump. NS/NU-**EHRIw2.
The main difference from the previous generation of the Alaska series is the updated design of the indoor unit. The appearance of the Neoclima Alaska 4.0 series air conditioner. NS/NU-**EHRIw2 now has a classic shape, glossy white plastic and modern geometry. The layout of individual parts has also been optimized, thanks to which the overall dimensions have become more compact, while the performance and efficiency of the air conditioner have remained at the traditionally high level.
Alaska 4.0 is a highly efficient heat pump that can operate in heating from +24 to -30°C, and in cooling from +48 to -15°C, while providing extremely high seasonal energy efficiency SEER cooling - A +++ and SCOP heating - A++. Such high performance is achieved through the use of the latest technologies, namely:
1. Modern freon R32.

Since 2015, a project to control atmospheric pollution with harmful gases has been launched in Europe. Each refrigerant has a specific GWP (global warming potential). For the now popular R410A freon, it is 2088, while for R32 it is only 685.
At the same time, the main advantages of the new R32 freon include:
• 0% harmful emissions for the ozone layer.
• The best choice for new generation air conditioners.
• High cooling effect.
• Full compliance with European environmental standards.
• The minimum consumption of freon per 1 kW.
• Possibility of reuse and recycling.
2. 6-pole inverter compressor with internal heating system

When the outdoor temperature is below 2°C, and the compressor self-diagnosis at start-up detects that the compressor temperature is lower than required for safe start-up and reliable operation, the control board sends a signal to turn on the heating for one minute. The algorithm is repeated until the compressor temperature is satisfactory.
Internal heating has a number of advantages over external heating.
• Heating occurs directly at the place where it is needed
• Less energy consumption, because heat is not lost
• Heating is much faster
3. Inverter fans for indoor and outdoor units.

They reduce the noise level and select the optimal fan speed, which allows you to achieve the best energy efficiency.
4. Double row heat exchanger with hydrophobic anti-corrosion coating Blue Fin.

The use of a double-row heat exchanger can increase the effective heat exchange area, which greatly improves energy efficiency. Anti-corrosion coating GoldFin increases the life of the air conditioner, and hydrophobic properties improve heat transfer.
5. Heating of the pallet of the external block.

During heating operation at an outdoor temperature below 0 °C, heating prevents condensate from freezing in the sump of the outdoor unit. The heating is grounded and protected against overheating.
6. Electronic expansion valve.

Allows you to more accurately maintain the temperature of freon, which increases the efficiency of heat transfer. TPO is present in all Neoclima models of the Alaska 4.0 series.
7. State of the art control board

The control board analyzes hundreds of data and parameters every second, for example: outdoor temperature; freon temperature at the inlet and outlet; fan speed; compressor temperature and more. Taking into account all these parameters, the board adjusts the mode and parameters of the air conditioner in order to obtain maximum energy efficiency, while not neglecting the comfort of the consumer.
Neoclima Alaska 4.0 air conditioners have a number of other useful features:
WiFi ready. When installing the NWF-02 module (option sold separately), you can control the air conditioner using a mobile phone, being hundreds of kilometers away from it.
• Filters: Cold Plasma (better than ionizer); active carbon; Catechin.
• Function I-Feel - determination of the temperature at the location of the remote control (temperature sensor in the remote control).
• Self-diagnosis function
• Mode +8 °C. Maintaining the temperature in the range from +5 to +10 °C, with minimal power consumption.
• 4D AirFlow. Possibility of remote control of horizontal and vertical blinds.
• Possibility of connection of a drainage from two parties
• LED display
• Self-cleaning function
• Automatic intelligent defrost
• Auto restart function
• POWER enhanced function
• Smart function - automatic control of operating modes
• 24 hour timer

In accordance with the rules and regulations, the manufacturer specifies two time periods for the product's life, which have different concepts.
Warranty period is a clearly defined period within which the manufacturer undertakes to provide service for warranty episodes.
Service life is a conditional period of time that indicates the duration or time interval of equipment operation. This term is often perceived as a guaranteed period, without taking into account the fact that it depends on the conditions, recommendations and rules prescribed by the manufacturer for its operation and maintenance.
So, let's take it in order.
General recommendations:
1. Installation
An official installation company is the second most important step after choosing an air conditioner. The qualifications of the craftsmen will allow you to take into account all the features and nuances, which guarantees the long service life of the system itself and its correct operation.
Install vibration supports/vibration dampeners - they will smooth out the noise from the outdoor unit.
Make sure that the installer makes a special note of his work in the warranty card.
2. Temperature operation
Check the operating temperature limits set by the manufacturer. Using the split system outside these limits (each mode has its own) is fraught with malfunctions or breakdowns.
For example, a standard air conditioner with an inverter compressor can operate down to minus 15C outside. At temperatures below this value, the system should not be turned on. If your city has a climate with harsh winters, we recommend considering a split system with a built-in winter kit or the possibility of installing it on your current equipment.
3. Minimum and maximum
As a rule, the manufacturer gives the minimum and maximum limits of the temperature range. However, engineers do not recommend going down/up to the limit parameters, as the system works on wear and tear, which reduces its service life and affects the quality of the result.
4. Closed windows
It is important to understand that the air conditioner is a localized device, so when you turn it on, close the windows and doors. Otherwise, its operation will be useless, as the cold/heat will disappear, and the system itself will switch to the high power mode, which entails additional energy consumption, clogging and wear.
Care recommendations:
1. Maintenance
Maintenance is a series of actions in relation to the split system in order to prevent possible malfunctions, incorrect operation and failure before the time.
A service technician provided by the manufacturer will perform a deep cleaning, diagnose errors, check the freon level and recharge if necessary.
It is recommended to carry out maintenance 2 times a year with intensive use in the off-season, summer and winter. 1 time per year - for occasional use.
2. After-sales service
The manufacturer's service specialists are qualified craftsmen who have undergone specialized training on the brands served. We strongly recommend that you do not use third-party services to avoid worsening the problem over time and to preserve the warranty.
3. Spare parts and accessories
Use original spare parts and accessories. Any, even a suitable analog, does not provide guarantees on the output, and in some cases will only worsen the situation.
4. Filter
It is recommended to clean the coarse filter (flat, mesh plate under the top cover of the indoor unit) using either dry (vacuuming with a vacuum cleaner) or wet (washing under running water and drying) methods.
5. The casing
Do not clean the casing with products containing chemical or any other aggressive components. This will damage the coloring and damage the plastic itself, and getting inside the air conditioner will cause negative and possibly irreversible consequences.
Use a cloth dampened with running water or a soft sponge. For grated surfaces, use soft brushes or cotton swabs.
In no case do not try to wash or clean the split system from the inside by yourself, contact a service center for such activities.
We recommend that you carefully read the manual, which contains detailed rules, tips, technical information and features of the split system.
